Alexis Goldsmith Zipp stylist

When it comes to pulling together all of the looks you see styled in our catalogs, on social media, and the website, it's no small feat! It takes a unique eye and special talent to pair together some of the combinations, which is where our stylist, Alexis Goldsmith, comes in! With years of experience in children's styling and three daughters of her own, she's a veteran in the industry and someone whose eye you can trust. See all of her bella bliss spring picks below, with smart ideas on how to style!

For Every Day Play

I always adore a romper for girls when it comes to everyday play. It allows them to do cartwheels and hang upside down on a playground with ease and modesty! The Britty Pima Romper in Meadow Floral is so sweet and reads like a put-together outfit in one easy piece. It's also perfect layered with a cardigan like the Tulip Pocket Cardigan.

The Kaki Pima Sundress is another favorite. I love the contrast buttons, pockets, and piping, and the ultra-soft Pima fabric makes kids feel comfortable and casual. It's a total win for moms and kids! Style it with a folded down ankle sock and a bright green tennis sneaker.

For boys, the polos are such a hit. I love the navy and white Striped Pima Ward Polo paired with the green Pima Play Short. It's smart but still super soft and comfortable. And I can't get enough of the green trim detail on the polo!

For a more unexpected look, pair the green Pima Ward Polo with a pink short, either the Twill Play Short or Wilson Short. It gives a playful nod to Slim Aarons and old school Palm Springs.

For Occasions Worth Celebrating

I can't get enough of the Greer Smocked Dress and Bubble in the Calliope Floral print for girls. The fabric is soft and sophisticated, and the smocked details and bow make it heirloom worthy. I'm also smitten with the Celine Swing Set and the Laura Dress. Those shoulder bows are so feminine and sweet!

For the boys, I adore the color pairing of coral and pale blue. It reminds me of lobster dinners on the beach, and the Coral Check Chapman Buttondown with the Light Blue Twill Slim Pant is so dapper. I err on a smaller buttondown worn untucked with the sleeves rolled just below the elbow. It gives a nod to Dad's style, but is less stuffy than a proper tuck. Extra cool points: give the pants a roll at the bottom to show the ankle and pair with a white sneaker or leather boat shoe.

For Spring Break

Whether you're playing tennis or not, the Trellis Tennis Skirt and the Sleeveless Pima Ruffle Tee are a must. I love pairing white with white or pink with pink for a matching set look. The Pima Polly Ruffle Short in green with navy trim pairs well also and allows effortless mixing and matching. Have the Lemons Cardigan on hand if temperatures drop at night!

Don't forget the Mirabelle Pink Lemons Bathing Suit with the low back ruffle. It's one of the cutest suits of the season! For little ones, the Clara Pima Bloomer Set and Meadow Floral Scallop Swing Set are sure to bring on the oohs and ahhs with their sweetness.

For boys, load up on the printed play shorts and polos in coordinating colors so you can mix and match. I love the Striped Jersey Ward Polo in citron & blue paired with the Boy's Play Short in Blue Oxford Stripe. The proportion play on two stripes make it work without being overwhelming. For the little ones, the Jersey Jax Romper in blue pique with green trim is such a cute and comfy look.
